I fear you stop posting on this blog dear Spunky and i fear Jack Nicholson in this movie. Sommaire Et la souffrance vgtale L'être idéal ? Un ange dévasté par l'humour. E.M. Cioran

I don't have a problem with the post, but I'd rather speak to someone face to face than call them on the phone. My postie isn't as ruthless as Jack Nicholson, but he does sign recorded deliveries for me

I open all my mail....never having a problem with it....I was a postman for over 37 years...through rain, snow, sleet, dogs, and naked women!!

I don't actually get much mail. A couple of years ago I opted for paperless billing so I get an email from the utility company telling me how much and when....and they take it by direct debit. I get email reminders for Car Tax, MOT and Insurance and deal with it on the net. The only mail I get would be half yearly bank statements....birthday and Christmas cards and hospital appointments and there have been a few of them lately. ~~Anais Nin~~

oh spunky, you were depressed. when all things big and small are insurmountable, thank god for friends. i get that way with anxiety and refuse to take care of small things. my BFF is on me like white on rice when she sees it happening. You cannot conceive the many without the one.

How good are you at dealing with your mail? Very good. All bills are electronic. Anything that is not obviously personal or governmental goes directly to the shredder with out opening Are there any letters you don’t open? Almost everything that is not personal or governmental goes to the shredder immediately

I'm better at dealing with the mail but it wasn't always the case. (Long story short); When I was caring for my mother, the house was in her name. When she had to go into a care assisted home, I had forgotten to tell the council and I had to repay the money she received. I got several letters but there was no way I could pay it back in one go. Everything eventually got sorted once the house was in my name. I get junk mail that I never open.

Yes, I have been afraid of my mail. But it was because I couldn't pay the bills. I was young, single, with two kids. I don't miss those days in the least. "Shall I tell you the secret of the true scholar? It is this: every man I meet is my master in some point, and in that I learn of him." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

I open all my mail. I pay bills some on the internet and some by check( I do not trust that when a bill is due the computer will be up and running so checks are a great backup even as we become a paperless society). I am an avid reader of all genres even junk mail. Never know when something will stick in my brain and turn into a blog post.
