Working in the Music Industry

Having to read a book before you get the job... What!

You’ve got to be kidding right... nope I had to read a book called “Young Men With Unlimited Capital” before I started working. The story was based on the original Woodstock.

The year was around 1979. I was living in central Jersey and moved into Manhattan.

I was able to land a job at a very well-known NYC Recording studio at the time.

Worked there for about 5 years before moving into Virginia right outside of DC.

To this day I still have the book. Thinking I’ll read again.

Years gone by ...so many fond memories.

I love going back in time. I could definitely see me on a front porch sitting in a rocking chair talking about the good old days. Thanks for commenting.

But I bet working at Show World was even MORE interesting...

It was. Now that’s a place or type of work I’ve done that you’ll never see on my resume.
