We think its great that people are willing to host lifestyle events as it takes a lot of effort to organize. People who organize events are also taking a big financial risk as they must pay for the venue and some other costs upfront without knowing if enough people will attend to cover their costs. The price for this event organized by Lickmenow seems quite reasonable at $20. If people think that's too much, then they can choose not to attend or organize their own event.
At Regina Lifestyle Parties, we chose to operate officially as a not-for-profit corporation. The prices we charge cover the costs of our events... simple as that. But there's also nothing wrong if Lickmenow makes a few dollars with their event either.

For the amount of money you MIGHT make, I'm sure ur gonna retire!!! NOT if ur lucky maybe u can purchase a six pack of beer. I think ur doing a great job organizing and hosting this event.

Thank you all for your support I very much appreciate it all. As far as I'm concerned we are all adults . I love these parties because the people who attend them are all awesome . People need to make up stories to make themselves feel better or superior . Just like Joe's said leave your bullshit at the door . We are all about having a good time hanging out with everyone!

Kudo's to lickmenow and whoever else is helping her host these parties. It is not easy and you take a huge risk no matter what that all your costs are covered. If you make some money, so what, a lot of work goes into organizing these events. People grow up... if you think you can do a better job then let's see it. I have hosted private parties at my house and that takes work too. It is so everyone can have a safe environment to hangout with people and not be judged for being in the lifestyle... we are all adults not high school kids. I have been to one of lickmenow parties and I had a blast. There is not enough of these events happening. People forget the amount of work that goes into planning and hosting these types of events, nothing is cheap these days and $20 is more than reasonable. Hats off to you lickmenow... like Joes said leave your bullshit at the door or better yet don't bother showing up, we will have more fun without you!

In all my years of doing parties I've never had a group like the the ones on Facebook trying to ruin parties . If they don't like you they make sure no one does or find away to kick you off their group if you don't agree with them . It seems like a communist group to me . The only reason they still have a group is because no one else has started one in Saskatoon. We are all adults but I feel like I'm back in high school when I have to deal with groups like them .

While we generally try to avoid Facebook, our experience is the people running the group are nice and welcoming. Sorry to hear that your experience was bad.
That being said, we have been the target of some hate messages in the past. We host private parties in our own home, but some people think they have some god given right to demand they attend our private parties in our house.
Here is an example of a hate message we received.
"It has become clear that you guys do not understand the swingers lifestyle and have placed your personal requirements in the requirements to be a swinger. We find your required body type and age limits to be ignorant to say the least, in fact neither of you do we find attractive, but we would never exclude you from being welcome. So kindly go fuck yourselves. Cause with your attitude it seems like that’s the only sex you’re gonna get."
Clearly this person has a warped sense of entitlement to send such a hate-filled message because they weren't allowed to attend a private party in someone's house. Hopefully everyone else can at least be respectful of each other's preferences and rules even if we might not all agree.

Kudos to you likemenow. We've attended a number of parties in town & out of town & have zero problem with the organizers making money. They're risking their own $$ & time to put on an event at a reasonable cost for us all to enjoy. Keep up the good work!!

and everyone wonders why people quit putting on parties....these exact reasons.....people who have never tried to run one of these have no idea what goes into planning it...... yet they are the ones who thing the organizers are getting rich off of putting one on..... anyone who gossips about a meet and the people putting it on should have to organize one themselves and put all the money up to do it...and see if there is anything left at the end...and then have to hear all the bs said about themselves...... pretty sure they would shut the fuck up pretty fast... kudos to anyone willing to put on a meet thingy.!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to send out a huge shout out to everyone who attended last night . 30 new couples came out wow that is unreal impressive. Thank you all for supporting our party . A lot of work goes into these parties . But it's all worth it when I look around the room and see people mingling and everyone is talking to everyone . I strive to make sure no one feels like they aren't welcome . I keep hearing my name being mentioned in certain Facebook group . I hear that if my name is associated with these parties they will fail. Well who was at my party last night showed that I guess I'm not hated as much as they are saying . If your going to trash my name make sure you get your facts right . My parties are always going to keep happening . Plus most of the people from the Facebook group were at my party . Haters are going to hate.
