I'm usually on the run on the weekends. Last week I visited Astoria and the Red Roof in New York city. There is a awesome exclusive roof top party at the RED. But I have to admit -- the view of Manhattan notwithstanding, the glowing river was the highlight of my night trip. Simply stunning. Next week I'm heading to Rockville to explore some indoor rock climbing. After that, I'll hit this legendary Mediterranean/ Italian restaurant the Il Mulino in DC. It comes highly recommended
